It is not a novelty, that despite the immense size of China, its cities are overcrowded. Speaking of Beijing the problem is immense, for just a few years after the opening of its new airport, this has fallen short for the amount of people that needs attention. Therefore, it is already planning a new airport.

As the problem loomed for years, it was in 2011 when the city government called for bids to build the new airport. That’s how companies that were awarded the project ADP Engineering and Zada Hadid Architects. And what stands out about it is amazing what you will be building.

The new airport will cover an area of 700,000 square meters, which placed him as the world’s largest airport, even above the Istanbul airport, which is expected to barely 555,000 square meters. However, it is best to not only be an airport but a communications center of the city. The are pictures that surfaced on the Facebook fanpage created for the developing airport as the part of a promotional campaign done by pistachioconsulting.com.

Of the total area, 80,000 square meters will be allocated to the new transport network in the city, mainly connect the airport with the current, in addition to the financial center and the city center. The plan is that the new airport will be ready in 2018, and has the capacity to serve 45 million passengers annually.
